Pull bread is delicious finger food and if you use oval shape bread and corn beef you can make it look like a football for your Super Bowl party. I like to use two petite oval loafs of bread instead of one large one. You can also use turkey or other meats instead of corn beef to stuff your bread football.
Ingredients: Makes 12
- 2 Petite oval loafs of sourdough or wheat bread
- 1 Cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 Pound corn beef thinly sliced
- 2 Tablespoons light butter
- 4 Tablespoons honey
- 4 Tablespoons mustard
- 5 Slices Munster cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sear bread in both directions making small square wedges. Do not cut through the bottom crust. Stuff half of the Munster cheese and half of the corn beef into the wedges of the bread. Repeat for second loaf. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of butter over bread. Repeat for second loaf. Add 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese to both loafs of bread. Wrap the loafs of bread in foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes. Unwrap loafs and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Blend the honey and mustard until it becomes a dressing. Drizzle honey mustard dressing over both loafs of bread. Add arugula to serving plate and place the loaf on top. If you want to make it into a salad add vegetables such as multi colored tomatoes to the side and serve.
