If you follow me on social media, you’ll know that I attended the Southern Coterie Summit, AKA The Southern C, April 29-May 1 in Charleston, SC. For those of you that don’t know what the Southern C is all about, it’s an opportunity for small businesses and entrepreneurs to Connect, collaborate and create in a niche environment with like-minded creative.
Since Memorial Day Weekend is upon us and it’s the official greeting to summer, I wanted to
How creative and delicious does this BBQ look served up in a waffle cone by Food For The Southern Soul? You’re guests would love this if you were doing a casual rehearsal dinner or rustic farm wedding.
If you like your BBQ more traditional, we just tried Southern Soul Barbeque’s’ Signature Southern Soul Dust, Sweet & Savory Dry Rub, and it was delicious! Make sure you add grilled corn on the cobb, leave husks on for more juicer taste. Add olive oil, sea salt and pepper, and you have an easy side.
After all the spicy food you need something refreshing to wash it down with!
Hope this inspires you for your Memorial Day celebration and into the summer! For more memorial day inspiration you can check out our post here. Come back next week for more details on the Southern C Summit and our collaborations!
