The Perfect Summer-to-Fall Grilling Recipe
As summer winds down and the crisp notes of fall start to sneak in, it’s the perfect time to fire up the grill for outdoor dinners. This Peach Glazed Grilled Chicken recipe is a go-to favorite—fresh, flavorful, and flexible enough for a casual family dinner or a small get-together.
The peach glaze adds just the right touch of sweetness, while fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme, parsley, and mint bring a depth of flavor that elevates the dish. August is National Peach Month, and we love pairing it with a peach-themed menu: think grilled peaches with vanilla ice cream for dessert and a corn and pepper medley on the side.
The peach glazed grilled chicken recipe has been one of my favorites over the years that I continue to tweak depending on the time of year and my dinner guests.
Peach Glazed Grilled Chicken Recipe
Ingredients: Serves 6
- 6 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 1/2 cup peach jam
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried or fresh thyme
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried or fresh rosemary
- 3 mint leaves cut
- 1/2 dried or fresh parsley
- nonstick cooking spray
Directions
-
Prep the Grill
Spray your grill with nonstick cooking spray and preheat to medium heat. -
Make the Glaze
In a bowl, mix the peach jam, apple cider vinegar, herbs, salt, and pepper. Divide the mixture in half—half will be used as a marinade and half will be reserved for finishing. -
Marinate the Chicken
Brush or pour half of the glaze over the chicken breasts, coating evenly. -
Grill It Up
Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6–7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and juices run clear. -
Finish with Glaze
Remove the chicken from the grill and brush with the remaining peach glaze while it’s still hot.
What to Serve with It:
- Corn and bell pepper medley for a colorful side
- Grilled peaches topped with vanilla ice cream for dessert—trust me, it’s a crowd-pleaser!
- Corn on the cob
